Mechanisms for Citizen Participation

1.Participation Model

 

Citizen participation is a constitutional right, and ICFES generates bilateral communication mechanisms between the community and the public administration oriented towards the exchange of useful information, making the relationship between the two parties more effective. (see citizen participation model).

 

2.Electronic channels for participation:

 

The use of information and communication technologies facilitates the dialogue between public administration and groups of interest through a range of electronic channels constantly updated (see citizen participation mechanisms).

 

 

 

 

3.Complaints and grievances:

 

ICFES quality management system allows the identification of improvement opportunities for each of the processes, which is the reason why the systematic analysis of complaints and grievances is a valuable source for the institutions’ decision making.
